My radio editing

This is my completed radio edit :)

RadioMix by 707ijemmam

When editing this peice of sound, i had to work independly. My teacher allowed the class to watch a step by step video on how to edit sounds from the programme 'Audacity'. We firstly had to import peoples voices that had no sound apart from them talking. Before we imported sound effects and background music, we had to adjust what the people were saying by using the selection tool. Once i had edited the people talking i then imported the background music and sound effects. I used the envelop tool which is when the music starts off louder at the beginning and when the people start talking, the music gets quieter. This allowed my radio edit to sound professional and realistic

Video Editing

This is how I import the whole video I want to edit

Video Editing

Here is were I can see all the clips from the orignial video. I can select the clip I want, drag them to were you select certain parts of the clip and then drag it to the timeline

Video Editing

As you can see on the top right hand side there is a edited video in process. This is where I can see my edited video in process and see how it looks with my selected clips.

Video Editing

This is the timeline. Once I have selected all my clips and dragged them to the timeline, I can change the order of the video clips i've selected. This is easy to use because you can zoom in to see the selected clips properly.

Video Editing

After selecting the part of video i want, i can press the comma key on the keyboard. This automatically drags my selected piece of video to the timeline.

VIDEO EDITING

This is how I selected certain parts of my video to edit. I used the bracket tool which selects a certain part of the video; the part you want. I found this easy to use as I had seen one of my peers do it.
